Is PrediBall actually free?
Yes. Playing PrediBall is free: predicting matches, running private leagues and competing on the leaderboards cost nothing. No entry fees, and no intrusive ads cluttering your screen while you're trying to check the scores. PrediBall Plus is an optional subscription for deeper match analysis in the Lab: you never need it to play, and it never changes how predictions are scored or where you rank.
Which competitions can I predict?
The UEFA Champions League is the flagship for 2026-27, alongside the biggest domestic leagues as the new season starts. Do I need to join a group to play?
Not at all. PrediBall is built for the social fun of private leagues, but you can play solo in the Global PrediBall League. Every prediction you make automatically counts toward your world ranking.
How do private leagues work?
Create a group in seconds and share one invite link or code. As admin you control the scoring rules, add bonus questions, and pin notices to the group board. Whether you're running a league for your 3 closest friends or a 500-person office pool, there are no limits on group size.
When do predictions lock?
Predictions for each match lock exactly at kickoff, and you can change your mind as many times as you like until then. By default your picks stay hidden from other players before kickoff and are revealed to your group once the match starts. Group admins can also switch a competition to public picks, where predictions are visible as soon as they're submitted, and everyone in the group is told when that mode is on.
How does scoring work?
You earn points for calling the correct result, and more for nailing the exact score. Group admins can tune the rules and add bonus questions for extra points. Ties in the standings are shared fairly, so equal points means equal rank.
How fast does the leaderboard update?
We use live-sync technology. As soon as a goal is scored and verified, the points are calculated and the standings shift in real time. No waiting for "the admin" to update a spreadsheet.
Can I use PrediBall on my phone and computer?
Yes. PrediBall is built to look and work beautifully on any device: iOS, Android, and every modern browser. Your account syncs instantly between the web version and the mobile apps.
Can I be in more than one group?
Absolutely. You can be the admin of your workplace league while competing in your family group and your best friend's circle, all from a single account. If several of your groups play the same competition, optional prediction sync submits your picks to all of them at once.
Is my group private?
Yes. Private groups are invite-only: only members can see the leaderboard and each other's picks. You stay in control of who's in.
